Air Dice - Mystery Deal
Mystery Deal comes from the Air Dice catalogue and is built around a deal: past a certain score, you either bank your prize or put it back in play on a wheel stocked with Mystery Games, fifteen at most. The rest of the time, you spread columns of three dice across four grids to line up matching symbols, with 100 points as the threshold for a win.
At Crazy Dice it sits alongside the other real-money dice games, with stakes from €0.25 to €25 per game. There is no progressive pot: everything comes down to points, two wheels and special games in which every prize jumps to 100 times the stake.
Mystery Deal dice: three matching symbols in a row
Each turn hands you a column of three dice to drop on the grid of your choice; every grid has nine squares. Points land when three identical dice share a payline. Each grid has five, all read from left to right: the three horizontals and the two diagonals.
Three winning grids multiply your score by 1.5, four winning grids double it, and a grid filled with nine identical dice adds 200 points. Those three counters sit at the bottom of the screen, right next to your stake, so you can always see what one more winning grid would do to your total.
What a line is worth in Mystery Deal
The dice are far from equal. Heading the points table is a die bearing the Chinese character 五, worth 120 points a line. Next come three dice at 60 points (the characters 四 and 三, then the classic six), two at 40 points (the five and the four) and three at 20 points for the lowest faces.
Only the 五 clears the 100 points needed for a win on its own; with the other dice you have to collect several lines, ideally in the same grid. The tenth die, decorated with a crystal pattern, is not part of the points table. Get three of these bonus dice on a single line and the bonus feature opens straight away.
Take the cash or spin the wheel from 500 points
This is where the game earns its name. When your score reaches one of the 500, 700 or 1,000-point thresholds, Mystery Deal asks you to choose: take the cash prize, or swap it for a spin of the Mystery Wheel. Each threshold has its own wheel, with different prizes:
- 500-point wheel: 1, 2 or 5 Mystery Games, or cash worth 5 or 20 times the stake;
- 700-point wheel: 1, 3, 5 or 10 Mystery Games, or 60 times the stake;
- 1,000-point wheel: 3, 4, 5 or 15 Mystery Games, or 100 times the stake.
There is no going back on that deal: once a cash prize is banked, it cannot be traded for a wheel spin. The Mystery Wheel is not offered during a run of Mystery Games either. The rules do not say how often each segment comes up, so the choice is a genuine gamble, to be weighed against your stake. On the 1,000-point wheel the cash prize is already 100 times the stake, the game's maximum, which is where the trade-off between certainty and Mystery Games matters most.
Crystal Wheel: the Mystery Deal bonus in five spins
The Crystal Wheel opens when three bonus dice share a payline. You get five spins and accept or turn down each result. The idea recalls the Mega Wheels bonus wheel, where you can also spin again before making up your mind.
Prizes come in three kinds: points (from 100 to 1,000), cash (5, 8, 10, 20, 50 or 100 times the stake) or 15 Mystery Games. Points won on the wheel are added to those from the main game and count towards your total. The bonus can only be won once per grid in a game.
Mystery Games you pay for
The in-game help leaves no doubt about it: during a Mystery Game, every prize in the main game's table takes the value of the highest one, namely 100 times the stake. The 100-point threshold still applies, and cash prizes do not go up to 100 times. A badge shows how many games are left, next to the prize table recalculated at your stake level.
They are not free spins, though: each Mystery Game costs exactly what the triggering turn cost, and that level stays locked until the run ends, which starts on the following turn. Fifteen Mystery Games at €2 therefore commit €30 in stakes. Keep that sum in mind before staking big on a Mystery Wheel.
High volatility and a 96% RTP for Mystery Deal online
On crazydice.be, Mystery Deal has an RTP of 96%. That figure is the share of stakes the game returns over a huge run of games, €96 for every €100 played; a single session can land far from it.
Volatility is high: losing games come in longer runs, and large amounts mostly arrive through the wheels. A low stake gives you more games to reach the thresholds and limits the cost of a run of Mystery Games if the wheel hands out fifteen. Setting a budget for the session beforehand remains the best protection with this kind of game.
Playing Mystery Deal for real money
The demo includes the full game with a play-money balance of €1,000, and the help button sets out the rules over eight pages. It is the ideal place to learn the shortcuts: A, Z, E and R, or Q, S, D and F, move the dice to grids 1 to 4, and the space bar hands placement over to autoplay.
For real money, Mystery Deal is reserved for players aged 21 or older and needs a verified account, under our status as a licensed operator with the Belgian Gaming Commission. The game opens straight from the browser, on a computer screen or a phone, with no app to install.
